Description

This Waldorf Salad features a delightful blend of crunchy apples, juicy grapes, and rich pecans, all tossed in a creamy dressing. A perfect choice for a light lunch or a side at dinner, it’s both delicious and easy to prepare!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Apples, Diced
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Celery (Diced)
  • 1 cup Grapes (Halved)
  • 1/2 cup Pecan Halves (Roughly Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Whipping Cream (Whipped)
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with sugar and lemon juice, tossing well to coat.
  2. Add the diced celery, halved grapes, and roughly chopped pecans to the bowl and mix together.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whip the whipping cream until peaks form, then gently fold in the mayonnaise.
  4. Carefully fold the apple mixture into the whipped cream until evenly coated, then season with salt to taste.
  5. Chill the salad for 1 hour or overnight before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, you can add walnuts or sunflower seeds.
This salad can be made a day ahead for convenience.
Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar based on your taste.
