- 2 medium lemons, (peeled, quartered)
- 2-inch piece (about 20 grams) fresh ginger root, (peeled, sliced)
- 2 tablespoons honey, (raw preferred for extra benefits)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup coconut water
Instructions
- Combine the blueberries, lemon quarters, ginger slices, honey, black pepper, and coconut water in a blender.
- Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds until smooth.
- Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, using a spoon to push the juice through. For a smoother shot, cheesecloth can be used.
- Fill small glasses or shot bottles with the juice using a funnel, until all is poured.
- Seal the bottles or cover the glasses and refrigerate to chill before enjoying.
- Stir or shake before drinking, as natural separation may occur.
