Ingredients
Scale
- 5 tablespoon butter unsalted
- 12 ounce mini marshmallows
- 7 cups rice krispies cereal
- 5 ounce white chocolate melts melted
- sprinkles optional
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter, then add the marshmallows and lower the heat.
- Stir constantly to prevent sticking until the mixture is fully melted.
- Remove from heat and pour in the Rice Krispies, stirring quickly to coat them evenly.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it down evenly (use butter or spray on your hands or paper to prevent sticking).
- Allow the treats to cool in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes, then cut them into desired pieces.
- Melt the white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl in the microwave or over a double boiler. Add food coloring a drop at a time until you reach the desired shade.
- Let the chocolate cool slightly, transfer it to a piping bag, and cut a small hole in the tip.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the treats and add sprinkles if desired.
Notes
For easier cutting, allow the treats to cool completely before slicing.
You can customize the colors of the white chocolate to match the occasion.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
