Description

This Red, White, and Blue Jello with Cream delights with its festive colors and rich flavor. Featuring layered gelatin and a luscious cream, it is simple to prepare and perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 6 oz red gelatin (170g)
  • 6 oz blue gelatin (170g)
  • boiling water (as per gelatin box instructions)
  • cold water (as per gelatin box instructions)
  • 12 fl. oz heavy whipping cream (350ml)
  • 5 fl. oz sweetened condensed milk (150ml)
  • whipped cream (to taste)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the red and blue gelatin per package instructions.
  2. Once prepared, transfer both gelatin layers into an 8×8 inch (20cmx20cm) dish and refrigerate for about 4 hours until fully set.
  3. Once set, cut the gelatin into squares based on the size of your serving cups using a utility knife.
  4. Carefully lift the squares out of the dish without breaking them. Use a teaspoon or spatula if needed.
  5. In 8oz (237ml) cups, layer the gelatin squares by alternating colors, pressing them against the sides for visibility.
  6. Add approximately 1.5 tablespoons of the cream in each cup and repeat the layering process until filled.
  7. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles to finish.

Notes

Ensure that the gelatin is completely set before cutting into squares for best results.
Feel free to use other colors of gelatin for different festive occasions.
Adjust the amount of cream based on your preference for creaminess.
