Description

This peach cobbler is a delightful blend of fresh peaches, sugar, and a buttery topping, creating an irresistible dessert that’s perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights in. Enjoy its comforting flavors with a scoop of ice cream!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine peach slices, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until the sugar has melted and the mixture is warm and juicy.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish without mixing.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour the mixture over the butter in the baking dish, without stirring.
  5. Spoon the peaches evenly over the batter, including some juice. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 38-42 minutes or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For added flavor, you can use a mix of white and yellow peaches.
Serve it warm for the best taste experience, especially with ice cream.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
