Description

This Pan Pizza offers a delightful combination of flavors with homemade dough, savory toppings, and a perfectly crispy crust. Ideal for a quick dinner or a cozy family meal, this recipe brings together the classic taste of pizza in an easy-to-make dish that’s simply irresistible.


Ingredients

  • 1 (10 to 12 ounce) ball pizza dough
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ⅓ cup pizza sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup pepperoni slices
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Pour 1½ tablespoons of olive oil into a 10-inch cast-iron skillet and swirl to coat the sides.
  2. Stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 10-inch circle and place it into the oiled skillet.
  3. Preheat the oven to 475℉.
  4. Allow the dough to rest in a warm area for 30 minutes, near the preheating oven.
  5. Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a ¼-inch border around the edges. Top with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake the pizza for 15 to 20 minutes until the crust is crisp.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, try adding your favorite vegetables on top.
Feel free to substitute the pepperoni with your choice of meat or veggies.
For a more golden crust, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end of baking.
