Description

These Easter M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies are irresistibly flavorful, simple to prepare, and packed with mini chocolate chips and colorful M&M’s, making them a perfect treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cups butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
  • 1 cup easter m&m's

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until well incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring until everything is well combined.
  6. Carefully fold in the mini-chocolate chips and M&M's.
  7. Scoop out 1 1/2 tablespoons of cookie dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space for spreading.
  8. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
  9. After removing from the oven, press additional mini-chocolate chips and M&M's into the tops of the cookies.

Notes

Ensure butter is softened for easier mixing.
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week.
For a chewier cookie, slightly underbake them.
