Description
Treat yourself to Lobster Tail in Irresistible Garlic Butter, a delightful dish featuring tender lobster, rich butter, and zesty garlic. Perfect for a quick dinner that feels luxurious!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tails lobster tails 4–6 oz each, thawed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter european-style for extra richness
- 1 tsp garlic powder burn-resistant flavor
- 0.5 tsp paprika for color
- 0.5 tsp cajun seasoning low-sodium blend recommended
- 2 wedges lemon warm before squeezing for maximum yield
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped finely for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the lobster tails by using kitchen shears to cut through the top shell lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Pry the meat upward while keeping it attached at the base and rest it atop the split shell. Pat dry with paper towels.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once foamy, whisk in the garlic powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
- Sear the lobster tails flesh-side down in the seasoned butter for 2 minutes, spooning the butter over the tops as they cook.
- Flip the tails and finish cooking shell-side down for 1–2 minutes until the meat is firm but still springs back.
- Squeeze lemon wedges over the lobster tails in the pan.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately, drizzled with the pan sauce.
Notes
Using kitchen shears is safer and easier for opening lobster tails.
Ensure the butter is hot enough for proper searing but not burnt.
Fresh herbs enhance the dish’s flavor and presentation.
