Description

This Easy Guacamole features a delightful blend of fresh avocados, zesty lime, and aromatic spices. Perfect for a quick snack, party appetizer, or as a topping for tacos, it’s a flavorful addition to any meal. Prepare it in just 5 minutes for an unforgettable experience!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium avocados
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 small tomatoes deseeded and diced

Instructions

  1. Cut open the avocados lengthwise, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado gently with a fork or potato masher, keeping it a little chunky.
  3. Mix in cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, ½ teaspoon salt, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon lime juice.
  4. Adjust the guacamole's texture by mashing or stirring in the spices as desired.
  5. Add chopped cilantro and diced tomatoes, stirring until evenly combined.
  6. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.
  7. Let the guacamole sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  8. If preparing ahead of time, store in the fridge, placing a pit in the middle and covering tightly with plastic wrap to prevent browning.
  9. Serve at room temperature or cold.

Notes

For added flavor, try adding some diced jalapeño or a touch of smoked paprika.
Fresh ingredients yield the best results, so choose ripe avocados and fresh lime juice.
If you’re storing leftovers, consume within 1-2 days for optimal freshness.
