  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

  • ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground ginger
