Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 cups coleslaw mix
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 clove garlic (finely minced, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, vegetable oil, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, honey, and minced garlic (if using).
  2. Add the coleslaw mix and sliced green onions to the bowl. Toss everything together until well coated in the dressing.
  3. If you have time, refrigerate the slaw for 30 minutes to enhance the flavors before serving.
  4. Before serving, garnish with sesame seeds and additional green onions as desired.

Notes

For added crunch, consider adding some shredded carrots or chopped nuts.
This slaw can be made a few hours in advance for a more convenient side dish.
