Description

These Chocolate Mint Oreo Cookies are a mouthwatering treat featuring a delightful combination of cocoa, mint oreo pieces, and chocolate chips. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth, this simple recipe makes baking fun and easy for everyone!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup mint oreo cookies, chopped
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup mint chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder until well combined.
  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and both sugars until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and beat until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, combining them well. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chopped Mint Oreo cookies along with the milk chocolate and mint chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Scoop out 2 tablespoons of dough for each cookie and place them on the lined baking sheet, ensuring there’s space between each ball.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until the edges are set.

Notes

For a softer cookie, avoid overbaking and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring.
Store baked cookies in an airtight container to maintain freshness and texture for up to a week.
You can adjust the amount of mint chips based on your preference for mint flavor.
