- 2 lb peeled sweet potatoes
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt to taste
- flaky sea salt for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Fill a large pot with about 4 cups of water, adding a pinch of salt and bringing it to a boil.
- Once boiling, carefully add the peeled sweet potatoes and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until they are approximately two-thirds cooked.
- Remove the sweet potatoes from the pot and let them cool slightly, then grate them into a large bowl.
Notes
Choose firm, fresh sweet potatoes for the best flavor.
Brushing the tots with olive oil helps to achieve a crispy texture.
