  • 1/2 lime , juiced
  • 1 cup white coconut rum , or white rum
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup

Instructions

  • To create simple syrup, combine equal parts granulated sugar and water in a saucepan.
  • Heat the mixture over medium heat until the sugar fully dissolves. This typically takes about 10 minutes.
  • Once dissolved, allow the simple syrup to cool completely.
  • In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, fresh strawberries, lime juice, coconut rum, and cooled simple syrup.
  • Blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve with extra rum or whipped cream on top if desired.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of lime juice according to your taste.
For a less sweet drink, reduce the simple syrup quantity.
Ensure the simple syrup is fully cooled before blending to maintain the drink’s chill.
