This Slow Cooker Baileys Irish Cream Hot Chocolate combines rich chocolate, creamy milk, and Baileys for an irresistibly delicious treat. Perfect for gatherings, it’s easy to prepare and keeps warm for hours, making it a favorite for cozy nights in.

- 8 oz. ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1 cup baileys® irish cream
- marshmallows or whipped cream
Instructions
- Break up the chocolate squares and add them to the slow cooker. Add the remaining ingredients, excluding the Baileys.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Once the cocoa is hot, stir in the Baileys Irish Cream.
- Set out mugs, whipped cream, and a bowl of marshmallows for self-serving.
- Keep the slow cooker on warm for your gathering; it can stay warm for up to 3 hours, remembering to stir often.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
For a non-alcoholic version, omit the Baileys and add extra vanilla or flavored syrups.
